The biggest challenge that we are going to have is trying to get face and our name out to the residents of this area. As Twig is, and a lot of small townships in district 5B are, left out of a lot of the main campaign stops.
Larson is proposing legislation he says will help working families across the state.
As education is always a strong part, but also public safety through law enforcement and stricter laws.
He says the last legislative session that ended in May had its ups and its downs.
I think the biggest disappointment that we saw was the using of the state’s general fund, the rainy day fund as it is called. And they nearly drained that using nearly 80% of the funds.
That he says will leave the state with a nearly two billion dollar deficit by 2010. Larson says the best part of being on the campaign trail is listening to people’s concerns and that is what is driving his agenda
The affects that the state legislature has done on them, increasing the gas tax, overspending on their welfare programs, not addressing illegal immigration the all day everyday kindergarten is one of the strong ones, safer communities. Our agenda has become based on what the citizens and the residents are asking of us.
